Connections..?
The members are connected to many glorious parts of the Globe, each interjecting his or her unique style and cultural tradition into the music. It is this rich blend of cultures that gives Nubian Sunshine its distinct and fresh sound.  Their songs tell the story of joy and pain and of the spirits that soar out of the struggle.Their shows celebrate their multi-racial, multicultural fe/male experience of the world.

The Live experience..
Nubian Sunshine don't just play music - they perform it, celebrate it and take their audience on a musical journey as they rediscover the glorious energy that live performances can bring.
With a love for dance, movement and choreographed percussion Nubian Sunshine also aim to take live music out of the concert hall and into the community, performing to audiences in public places, local festivals and non-traditional venues.  The group regularly targets spaces where live music is rarely heard, such as hospitals, mental institutions and prisons.

Developing quality of life..
Using music as a means of developing quality of life
is an important part of Nubian Sunshine work.
In addition to their live performances, we run regular workshops
for young musicians, offering the opportunity to experience
the depths of music, learn an instrument, meet other young
musicians, and gain valuable live concert experience.
The workshops allow participants to find their own
strengths and weaknesses developing individually and
as a group, improving the young musicians' performance and
all round life skills.
