Overall Mission
‘To encourage racial harmony and cohesion between communities by sharing experiences of BME and RAS communities, with the wider community and in Waddon’
Aims
To produce a Booklet and CD of the project.
To create performances and an exhibition of the works produced.
To present all participants with a copy of the finished products.
Objectives
Poetry and Art Workshops in schools.
Interviewing the elders from an elderly peoples home.
Talking with the local community and prominent people.
Combined library and internet research.
The workshops were focused around Conflict/Resolution and ran from September – December ’05. They were held in three schools:-
Hayling Manor – Norbury Manor - the Archbishop Lanfranc.
Between these schools, they created all of the Poetry, Art work and Creative writing that you find in this book.
The information and resources contained, comes from independent research from the public libraries internet, and personal studies.
